A medal is a documentive article that informs of and commemorates events, celebrations, homages to both individuals and institutions, as well as recording places, anniversaries and so on. The art of medal making is based on one unique work, carried out by an engraver. Through the offices of a workshop highly experienced in the technique and art of engraving and the science of minting, and through various issues, these works of art are made available to a wider public.
Our minting process is what is termed "in the classical manner", but with the obvious up-to-dateness, and always maintaining the essentials. Its goal is to transfer the exact model of the original throughout the successive and necessary stages without loss of the work of the engraver.
A strike is a work which involves ancient arts. We have been specialists since the beginning of the XXth century. We make medals, decorations, special medals for competitions and commemorative events. We also make religious medals for Abbeys, Monasteries, Religious Orders and Societies and for Specialized Jewellers. These can come from our own stocks or from specially ordered mintings. The process in limited editions is the same.

A medal is forever. Every AyM medal is treated as a unique piece, however large the issue, because the person who receives it is also unique.
